It’s-A-Boy: Baby Shower Cupcakes

In late-January, Classy Cups Cupcakes received a call from Irwin Union Bank in Clayton asking for information on Baby Shower Cupcakes, as they were having a baby shower for two of their employees, who are both are having boys.
We suggested our It’s-A-Boy Cupcakes. The Cupcakes are a mix of vanilla and chocolate and are topped with blue, yellow, and green vanilla icings; and brown icing is milk-chocolate. The cupcakes are decorated with stripes, dots, and swirls of bright boyish colors.

Cupcakes as Gifts
A mom & dad from out of state purchased a box of cupcakes for their daugther Deirdre, who attends SLU. So we baked, decorated, and delivered them to SLU Campus as the parents requested. They wanted the cupcakes to be bright colors and have a birthday look to them. So, that’s exactly what we did. The solid colors are vanilla cupcake with vanilla icing. The cupcakes with writting are chocolate with chocolate drops in the center topped with vanilla icing and the words were piped on with chocolate icing colored black.

Our bride and groom shared their ideas with us prior to the consualtation, and that their colors and theme would be pink and black; they wanted fun and classy. So, for our soon to be newlyweds, Classy Cups Cupcakes decorated the Sample Box with shades of pinks, black, and white; and decorated them with swirls, stripes, and dots.

Road/Traffic Sign Theme Birthday Party 2009

MUSEUM OF TRANSPORTATION
The birthday cupcakes were for twin, 5 year old boys who had their party at the Museum of Transportation in Des Peres, Missouri. Their mother contacted us weeks before and requestd that the cupcakes not contain eggs, as the boys are allergic. So Classy Cups Cupcakes did just that, we used an egg replacement powder in place of eggs. The boys picked out their favorite road signs, and we decorated all the cupcakes to their request.

RCIG celebrated with our Seasonal Candy Cane Cups mixed with our Snowflake Cups, as seen above. Our red velvet cupcakes are filled with a chocolaty center, and then are topped with snow-flake white icing, but don’t let it fool you, it is actually our zippy peppermint icing. And this treat would not be complete without being sprinkled with chunks of crushed candy cane!
RCIG also requested cupcakes with their company logo, as seen above. They are vanilla cupcakes with vanilla icing.
